PARENT & TEACHER EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
Building Kind and Courageous Families character strength workshop
Have you heard? As part of our "Families Building Communities of Compassion" initiative, made possible by the The Greater Good Science Center, we are offering free community workshops at the following locations:
Monday Dec. 3rd @ Redmond Library (10:30 -12:30)
Friday Dec. 7th @ Woodinville Library (10:30 -12:30)
Sunday Jan. 13th @ Bellevue Library (2:30 - 4:30)
You probably agree: it's important to raise kind kids! But in the hustle and bustle of academic and after-school activities, it can be challenging to find time to dedicate to your child's social and emotional development! Building strong character in kids is simple and easy, but it does take time and intention! As the future leaders of our communities whether they are teachers, volunteers or politicians, Camp Kindness Counts believes that offering kids opportunities to develop strong character is key to our development of a kind and compassionate society.
Join us for an afternoon of connecting with other like-minded parents, learning about character development, self-care, and holding space for new and innovative parent-led ideas to build communities of kindness in our neighborhoods.
